Rebecca Wang has long been interested in what moves us: the stories we remember, the art we return to and the connections that give our lives meaning. Based in London, she is an entrepreneur, executive film producer and patron of the arts whose background in psychology continues to shape her outlook.

Wang served as an executive producer of Passion Play, starring Mickey Rourke, Bill Murray and Megan Fox. For her, the appeal of cinema lies in its intimacy: the way a story can draw us into another life and allow us to recognise something of ourselves within it.

Based in London, Wang channels her deep passion for the arts through her involvement with some of the city’s most prestigious cultural institutions. She is a distinguished member of the Academy Circle at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), the Director’s Circle at the Victoria and Albert Museum, and a devoted patron of the National Gallery, Tate Modern, and Serpentine Galleries. Her belief in the healing power of music has also made her a dedicated patron of the Royal Academy of Music. Wang’s artistic pursuits span a broad and refined spectrum, encompassing literature, photography, filmmaking, music, as well as interior and fashion design, all of which reflect her visionary and sophisticated creative sensibility.
Humanitarian Work
Wang’s humanitarian work is guided by a quiet sense of responsibility and a belief in long-term care rather than public recognition. Over the years, she has supported internationally respected organisations such as the Elton John AIDS Foundation and amfAR, contributing to initiatives that advance research, treatment, and global awareness in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Her commitment to social care has also extended to work with Catholic Charities USA, supporting vulnerable individuals and families at a community level. Alongside this, she has been a long-standing advocate for animal welfare through the RSPCA, an organisation dedicated to the prevention of cruelty, the rescue and rehabilitation of animals, and the promotion of compassion and responsible care.
